Cenote Kukulkan. The maximum depth is 15 meters. The halocline starts at a depth of 12 meters. Stationary line in the cavern zone. This cenote is very close to Chuck Mool cenote, they have shared parking and all amenities. Entry into the water is quite easy.
This cenote is one of the best places for underwater photographers. There is a bright area where you can observe strange lighting effects from the rays of the sun penetrating through the holes in the ceiling. There is a fairly strong halocline in the dark part of the cavern, and you can see your buddy literally melt into it, swimming just a couple of meters away from you.
There are several unique crystal formations on the walls, and giant goldfish and turtles are hiding from you at the entrance.
Minimum level of diving certification for recreational OWD route + perfect buoyancy.
